Michael was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, near Chicago, where he graduated and started his acting career. Mike’s first trek to Hollywood, CA was in 1986 where he got a few bit parts in films and even worked as Bruce Willis’ full time photo double. After performing in several lead comedy roles for the stage, Mike discovered he had a natural nack for comedy. On a dare he enrolled in a talent show as a comedian, and he was on his way!
In 1994 Michael moved to Kansas City, MO. Where he soon-after got married to his sweetheart, Michelle, from Raytown.
2 little boys, and one on the way later, they decided to “give Hollywood one more try”……Since then Michael, and his little Comedian/actor sons have been making their mark in the entertainment industry, as they have all landed roles in commercials, film, and T.V.
Michael’s oldes b oy, 11 yr old Dustin Joiner, has appeared as a Comedian on “America’s Most Talented Kids” and “Steve Harvey’s Big Time”, as well as major comedy clubs, like “The Hollywood Improv”, “The Ice House”, and New York City’s “The Laugh Factory”….
…Michael is not jealous of Dustin…..
